(II) Nathaniel, son of Colonel JonathanWade, was born about 1648 at Ipswich, )\Ias-sachusetts, died November 28, 1707. He gavehis age as thirty-six in 1684. He settled atMedford, Massachusetts, and married, Octo-ber 31, 1672, Mercy, daughter of GovernorSimon Bradstreet and Anne (Dudley) Brad-street, daughter of Governor Thomas Dud-ley. Their descendants have the honor tonumber two of the early Massachusetts gov-ernors among their ancestors. DecemberII, 1732, mentioned below; Dudley, DecemberI, 1734; ^lary, December 10, 1736; Ruth,August 28. 1740; Deborah, May 23, 1744;John, January i, 1746.
