Deutsch: Gedenkkreuz an die Opfer beider Seiten der Kämpfe November 1944 bis Februar 1945 im Gebiet von Simonskall und dem Kalltal
Zum Andenken an die Opfer beider Seiten, die bei den Kämpfen von November 1944 bis Februar 1945 im Gebiet von Simonskall und dem Kalltal ihr Leben verloren. Den deutschen Soldaten der 272. VGD, der 275. Inf.-Div. sowie der 89. Inf-Div. & den amerikanischen Soldaten der 8. US-Dvi., der 28. US-Div. sowie der 78. US- Div.. Das Kreuz wurde gestiftet von Herrn Leo Berbig, Simonskall. Aufgestellt im April 2012 durch di ZIF (Zeitgeschichte Interdisziplinäre Forschungsgruppe).
