| Description |
English: Gatwick Airport: Signs I wouldn't normally have taken this photograph, but tucked away to the right, and almost camouflaged by its grey-greenness, is a historic signpost that must date from the earliest days of Gatwick Airport in the 1950s. Amongst the destinations on the finger boards the lowest one on the right shows the way to "Buses to Crawley" complete with an old London Transport roundel, recalling the days when Crawley was connected to West Croydon by London Transport Country's old 405 service. |
