Description Brian Szydlik and Tatia Taylor, civil engineers with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, describe the construction of the Folsom Dam auxiliary spillway concrete support structures to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ South Pacific Division commander Brig. Gen. Dave Turner and other Corps leaders during a construction site visit Jan. 22, 2014 in Folsom, Calif. The support structures will soon house six large tainter gates that control water flow.
