| Description |
Srpski (latinica): Rasprostranjen je u većem delu Evrope (osim Skandinavskog poluostrva i delova južne Evrope),većem delu centralne i istočne Azije. Severne populacije su migratorne, dok se južne uglavnom ne sele. Naseljava otvorena staništa, pretežno ravničarska (stepe, pašnjaci, obradive površine) sa većim ili manjim grupacijama drveća u kojima se kolonijalno gnezdi (u grupacijama do nekoliko stotina parova). Kolonije često smešta u drvorede ili parkove u naseljima. Hrani se uglavnom krupnim beskičmenjacima (insekti i nihove larve, gleste i sl), glodarima, semenjem i plodovima biljaka. Populacija u Evropi je uglavnom stabilna mada je u sve većem broju zemlja u opadanju (usled ubijanja ptica, nestanka drveća pogodnog za kolonije, upotrebe pesticida i dr). U Srbiji se gnezdi 50.000–59.000 parova, a populacija je stabilna (Puzović et al 2015). |
