Summary[edit]

Description

1885 British half crown from Queen Victoria. A half crown had a value of 30 pence, a crown 60 pence, four crowns or 240 pence to the pound. What a confusing era it was for British numismatics for the touring foreigner!! Proud to be of British heritage myself!!

English: This coin is listed in the Standard Catalogue of British Coins under the ID 3889.
