The mosaic made of fur shows the emperior Franz Joseph I of Austria Wandteppich. Entworfen und ausgeführt von G. Radda. Wien. Grösse: 2 m. 65 cm. Breite und 2 m. 30 cm. Höhe. Der Teppich zeigt oben in der Mitte den Reichsadler, links und rechts reihen sich daran die Wappen der 22 Reichsländer Österreich-Ungarn's. Ueber jedem dieser Wappen ist die entsprechende Krone, dazwischen Eichen, und Lorbeerranken. Unter jedem Wappen der Name des Kronlandes In der Mitte des Teppich's das Bild Kaiser Franz Josef's. Darunter der Wahlspruch: Viribus unitis. Der Teppich wurde für die Ausstellung bei Gelegenheit des 50 jähr. Regierungsjubileum angefertigt; deshalb die Jahreszahlen 1848-1898. Alle Teile dieser hervorragend künstlerischen Arbeit sind aus Pelzstücken und ohne Ausnahme in den Grund eingenäht. Verwendet wurde besonders: Sealskin, Sealbisam, Hermelin, Seehund, Fischotter, Murmel, Nutrias und Lammfelle. Diese Letzteren, wurden auch in rot-blau-grün und gelbgefärbt angewendet.
