| Description |
English: Looking west at the wetlands of the Idlewild Park Preserve in the Hook Creek basin from a Jamaica-bound Q114 Limited bus, traveling north on Brookville Boulevard near JFK Airport in Brookville / Rosedale, Queens. The road is actually crossing Simonson Creek coming from Brookville Park, which meets Hook Creek in this area. The Q114 no longer operates on this route, known as Snake Road (think Dead Man's Curve), due to flooding from the marsh, in addition to the route being windy and accident prone with no walls between road and water. |
