| Description |
English: Before I arrived in England I'd read that Tottenham Court Rd. is famous for its electronics stores. But unlike most men I detest most electronics (no iPod, Bluetooth, no Blackberry) and had no desire to go there.
But when I bought my new camera in York following the camera-drowning accident in Lealholm, North Yorkshire, I forgot to ask for a VAT Refund form for tourists, so I ended up heading to a Jessops on Tottenham Court Road to get a VAT Refund form. The service at that particular Jessops was very good, and I felt sad to learn that that branch closed down soon after I came back to Canada. |
