| Description |
English: Friends' Clump Seen from the 'Friends' car park on the Crowborough Road this clump of Scots Pines was planted in 1973 by the Friends of Ashdown Forest. This follows a practice, started by Countess De La Warr in 1825, of planting clumps of pines on high points on the (then otherwise treeless) heath. |
