Description
English: The picture depicts the Order of Great Saint Basil's (OSBM; Basilians) friary in Hajdúdorog, Hungary. Saint Basil's greek catholic religious order was settled in 1933 in Hajdúdorog and their monastery was built in 1942. The one-time monastery today is the old main building of the greek catholic Saint Basil Educational Centre's high school. The picture was taken in the '50s.
The original picture is part of a postcard. The picture is part of the archive of the Hajdúdorog Community House (Görög Demeter Művelődési Ház) which is free and available for anyone. Upon this reason it is in the public domain.
Magyar: A kép a Nagy Szent Bazil Rend (OSBM; baziliták) hajdúdorogi rendházának épületét mutatja. A görög katolikus bazilita rendet 1933-ban telepítették le Hajdúdorogon. Rendházukat 1942-ben építették fel. Az épület ma a Szent Bazil Oktatási Központ gimnáziumának régi épülete. A kép az '50-es években készült.
A kép eredetileg egy képeslap része volt. A kép a hajdúdorogi Görög Demeter Művelődési Ház archívumához tartozik, amely bárki által szabadon felhasználható.
