Du nom de l’EV Paul Henry qui fut tué le 30.07.1900 en défendant la citadelle de Pé-Tang 01.05.1912 : armé définitivement, de Rochefort pour Toulon, affecté à la 1ère flottille de torpilleurs de l’Armée navale 06.1912 : 2ème escadrille de contre-torpilleurs de la 1ère Armée navale en Méditerranée 14.03.1913 : désigné torpilleur d’escadre 1914 : Méditerranée 05.1915 : affecté à la division des flottilles de l’Adriatique ; protection des communications, surveillance du canal d’Otrante, aide à l’armée serbe 1916 : mer Egée 1917 : patrouilles de la Méditerranée, basé à Milo ou à Corfou, escortes de convois et lutte anti sous-marine 1918 : mer Noire 03.1919 : défense et évacuation des nationaux en mer d’Azov, soutien aux volontaires russes contre les Bolcheviks 1919 : défense mobile de Tunisie à Bizerte 09.06.1928 : condamné
