Description
English: Portrait of Elizabeth Charlotte of the Palatinate, Duchess of Orléans (1652-1722), misidentified with Marie Anne de Bourbon (1666-1739), formerly identified as Maria Theresa of Spain (1638-1683) and Marie Adélaïde of Savoy (1685-1712).
  • Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of the Princess Palatine (see images below), and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to verified representations of Marie Anne de Bourbon.
