Description
Deutsch: Gerngross-Säule (benannt nach dem Architekten Heidulf Gerngross) von Franz West am Fuß der Rahlstiege in Mariahilf (Wien 6.). Die Schrift auf dem Ei ist seitenverkehrt, damit das Küken sie von innen lesen kann.
English: Gerngross column by Austrian sculptor Franz West, named after architect Heidulf Gerngross, near Rahlstiege stairways in Mariahilf (Vienna's 6th district). The name Gerngross is in mirror-writing, so that the chicken can read it from inside the egg.
