Description
Italiano: una scena di un frantoio con le varie fasi della lavorazione dell’olio di oliva, dalla frangitura, alla spremitura, alla chiarificazione, fino alla conservazione in orci di terracotta. Commissionata a Giovanni Stradano (Jan Van Der Straet) da Luigi Alamanni (1558-1603), nobile ed erudito fiorentino, tra il 1587 e il 1589, questa tavola è incisa e pubblicata da Philip Galle nella raccolta « Nova Reperta ».
