Description
English: In 1912, Franklin High School moved to a large new building on Mt. Baker Boulevard. That year, the school had 769 students. The building had 42 classrooms, two gymnasiums, a library, an auditorium and a lunch room. It also had a complete model apartment for use by home economics classes.

This photo, taken around 1912, shows the new Franklin High School at about the time it opened for its first year of classes.
