During her busy life at thedesk she has found time to put out one very acceptable book, A ParadiseValley Girl, and has written a number of leaflets of special interest andhelp to the work of the W. C. T. U. Mrs. Fry was one of the judges in theLiberal Arts Department of the Worlds Columbian Exposition, held inChicago in 1893, and here, as elsewhere, she gave hearty, conscientiousdevotion to the work in hand. A distinguishing characteristic of this scholarly woman who has givensuch honorable and efficient service to the Womans Christian TemperanceUnion, is her breadth of vision, her receptive attitude toward all thatmakes for the development and betterment of humanity, and her unfailingoptimism. She is greatly beloved by those who have been privileged tobe her co-workers at National W. C. T. U. headquarters. Her sound judg-ment and keen intuition made her a valued and trusted representative ofthe rank and file of the white ribbon army.
