Está edificado sobre el agua. Por todas partes cantan las acequias y crecen los altos chopos donde el viento hace sonar sus músicas suaves en el verano..." Federico García Lorca

Translation into English by the Patronage Federico García Lorca: "I have a duty of gratitude to this charming village where I was born and spent my happy childhood... when I am asked in Madrid or elsewhere, for the place of my birth... I say that I was born in Fuente Vaqueros...
