English: Foundation nail dedicated by Gudea of Lagash to Ningirsu for the building of the E-ninnu. Terracotta, ca. 2120 BC. May come from Tello, ancient Girsu.
"For Ningirsu, the powerful hero of Enlil, his king, Gudea, prince of Lagash, accomplished what had to be; his temple of E-innu, the shining thunder-bird, he built and restaured."
Français : Clou de fondation dédié par Gudéa de Lagash à Ningirsu pour la construction de l'E-ninnu: « Pour Ningirsu, le héros puissant d'Enlil, son roi, Gudéa, prince de Lagash, accomplit ce qui convenait ; son temple de l'E-Ninnu, l'oiseau-tonnerre resplendissant, il construisit et il le restaura. » Terre cuite, vers 2120 av. J.-C. Provenance : peut-être Tellô, ancienne Girsu.
