This is one of the watercolours and drawing made by Georg Forster during James Cook's second voyage to the Pacific 1772-1775. The watercolour is listed by Sharpe 1906 as Plate 104; this number is written on the right hand side of the watercolour. However, the NHM lists this watercolour as Plate 103. The NHM image has been cropped by the uploader to remove the scale bar and the colour chart. |
