Description
English: As seen in June 2020: the abandoned building at 204 West Utica Street in Buffalo, New York was once a supermarket, and passed through many brand identities throughout its operational lifespan: it was an A&P from the time it was built (1961) through the mid-'70s, a Super Duper from 1975 into the early '80s, an Owl Drugs by 1985, a Fay's drugstore by 1994, and an Eckerd from 1997 through roughly 2007. It's been vacant since then, but plans are to reopen the building as a supermarket in connection with the Elmwood Crossing project that also proposes the reuse of the former Women and Children's Hospital campus a block over on Bryant Street.
