Summary[edit]

Description The former Brighton, Hove and Preston United Omnibus Company Electric Bus Garage and Recharging Station, Montague Place, Kemptown, City of Brighton and Hove, England. Designed by Clayton & Black in 1908 for the Brighton, Hove and Preston United Omnibus Company, this building (now a garage) was listed by Historic England in July 2015 because of its rarity, "particularly for its association with electric buses", and its largely unaltered character. It is on a backstreet in the Kemptown area of the city, close to the former Bristol Road Methodist Church. This view looks southeastwards.
