Summary[edit]

Description

Cold war era American utility truck Officially designated as the Truck, Utility, ¼-Ton, 4x4, the Ford M151 was the successor to the M38 (Willys MC) which itself had replaced the WW2 Willys MB (Willys Jeep). Also known as the MUTT (Military Utility Tactical Truck), more than 100,000 were produced between 1959 and 1988 with many remaining in worldwide military service. Dating from 1968, the A2 variant had a revised rear suspension which improved cornering ability. Museu do Combatente, Forte do Bom Sucesso, Lisbon, Portugal
