| Description |
English: Footpaths to Tomley Hall Farm Alongside Shawell Lane, there are a number of footpaths running north. The nearest here, runs north-west to Shawell. The sign to the right directs walkers to two footpaths - the first, a track, runs by shortest distance to Tomley Hall Farm. The second, runs parallel to the M6 (which is on embankment behind) a short while before heading north to woods then Tomley Hall Farm.
The M6/M1 improvements will create a new road running parallel to motorway east, and the footpaths will run along it's 'widened verge'. In doing so, the improvements will create a new footpath route directly to Swinford. |
