| Description |
English: Footpath Leaving the A27 This is the old route of the South Downs Way which until 1997 descended Long Hill then forced walkers and horse riders to cross the busy dual carriageway to the Newmarket Inn. It has since been rerouted via the Housedean Farm road bridge though the footpath is still in operation rejoining the South Downs Way near Balmer Down. |
