Description
Français : "Fontaine monumentale en fonte avec bassin polygonal en marbre de Saint-Triphon [?], installée eu 1862 à la Promenade du Lac. Devenue "trop mesquine" pour cette promenade après l'extension du jardin, elle fut transportée en 1865 au Jardin Anglais. Œuvre du sculpteur parisien Alexis André, cette fontaine comporte dans la partie inférieure quatre divinités fluviales assises s’appuyant contre un socle orné de festons qui supporte une large vasque munie de jets d’eau. Un deuxième socle circulaire soutient quatre garçonnets et fillettes, plus ou moins vêtus, entourant une colonne soutenant une petite vasque munie de jets.
