| Description |
English: Flush Bracket 2833 on Pulford Bridge. This flush bracket is at the south west end of Pulford Bridge on the west side of the west parapet, i.e. over the wall from the road. It is on the large stone at the end of the main bridge structure, and can be seen by leaning over the wall. If you choose to climb over make sure you are in the right place (its only three feet) or it could be a 12 foot drop into Pulford Brook! There is an interesting old iron hook on the left, I wonder if that had anything to do with steadying the surveying equipment? For the bridge parapet and stone from the other side see 1465962 |
