28-Sep-1918: Chicago Tribune WW I war correspondent Floyd Gibbons approaching General Logan's statue in Chicago's Grant Park for the presentation of the Croix de Guerre with Palm on September 28, 1918. The French consul at Chicago, Antonin Barthelemy, is on Gibbons' left, Illinois Lieutenant Govenor John G. Oglesby is behind Gibbons, and Gibbons' sister Margaret is behind Oglesby.
