| Description |
English: Surrounded by natural light, the "Learning Hub" at the FM9 freshman campus is an open, fluid space that combines activities traditionally associated with a library and a cafeteria.
Flower Mound High School in Lewisville, Texas, opened its stand-alone ninth grade campus in 2014. A direct result of Lewisville ISD's Strategic Design, the "FM9" freshman center is a modern high school establishment where ninth graders have the opportunity to attend core classes in an environment that completely supports their transition to high school. The contemporary "eco-friendly" school building follows CHPS Design Criteria and includes energy-efficient amenities such as window shading devices, daylight harvesting sensors, LED lights, and high efficiency roof top HVAC units.
