Flooding near the FDR Memorial

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Normally you can walk on a concrete path that goes along the Tidal Basin. During high tide, sometimes the water covers the path. In this photo, the trail leading to the walkway ends in water.

There will be a project starting in 2024 to raise the height of the seawall to prevent this type of flooding in the future.
