Description

A Paratrooper assigned to Company A, 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, uses a metal detector in search for weapons cache during Operation Doubleday Feb. 9 in the New Baghdad district of eastern Baghdad. The combined clearance operation was conducted over several miles in and around the New Baghdad district in order to clear and disrupt insurgent networks and weapons cache.
