Summary[edit]

Description Col. Greg Gunter, G3 of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Task Force Hope, gives the Honorable John McHugh, Secretary of the U.S. Army, an overview of the Greater New Orleans Hurricane Storm Damage Risk Reduction System (HSDRRS) before he embarks on a helicopter tour of it, May 24, 2011. The HSDRRS is a 350-mile system, consisting of levees, flood walls, surge barriers, and pump stations, and when completed, it will reduce the risk for the Greater New Orleans from a storm that has a one percent chance of occuring in any given year.
