ARABIAN GULF (April 20, 2012) U.S. Navy and French navy sailors assigned to guided-missile cruiser USS Vicksburg (CG 69) and the French navy destroyer FS Cassard (D614) train together during a damage control drill aboard Vicksburg. Vicksburg is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Cassard is assigned to Combined Maritime Forces, Combined Task Force 152, conducting maritime security operations in the Arabian Gulf.
