CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 16, 2012) Vice Adm. Kevin McCoy, commander of Naval Sea Systems Command meets with Providence High School's Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) students. McCoy was in Charlotte for Navy's 50-50 Program, which features 2-3 days of high-level engagements with corporate executives, civic leaders, government officials, university faculty and administrators, and members of the media. The program is designed to build on United States Navy efforts to increase Americans' understanding of the Navy's mission, capabilities, and relevance to national security.
