Description

PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 1, 2012) Gunner's Mate 3rd Class Erin O'hara, Gunner's Mate Seaman Dominique Dejesus and Airman Steven Blassingame, all assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), test fire the ship's saluting cannons in preparation for a change of command ceremony. Nimitz is currently in route to San Diego to embark Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11 as it prepares for a composite training unit exercise.
