«Флаг Ярковского сельсовета представляет собой прямоугольное полотнище с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, воспроизводящего композицию герба муниципального образования, фигуры которого выполнены в голубом, зелёном, жёлтом и белом цветах».

Описание герба: «В лазоревом поле с зелёной оконечностью, отделённой пониженным серебряным, лазоревым и серебряным поясом, — поверх всего вырастающий золотой подсолнечник (с тремя листьями неравного размера, отрастающими от стебля в оконечности)».
