DescriptionFlag of New York City (1914–1915).png |
English: This is a rendering of the unofficial flag of New York City, circa 1914. It was recreated using a description from "Seal and Flag of the City of New York", edited by John B. Pine and published in 1915. The seal in the center was cancelled by ordinance on June 24, 1915 and replaced with a version of the current city seal. The flag itself was replaced by the blue, white and orange tricolor on April 6, 1915. |
