| Description |
English: Fishing chalet in Baron Wood A large chalet by the left bank of the River Eden below Baron Wood, on the inside of a big bend facing a long wall of sandstone cliffs (behind the photographer). This one does seem to have the ideal location for sitting out in the evening with a beer or three, barbecuing your day's catch. Passing paddlers are working fairly hard at this point (at least in this sort of water level) as this is one of the flatter sections of the River Eden descent from Lazonby to Armathwaite. |
