DescriptionFisheye Domilise's.jpg |
At Domilise's po-boy shop, Uptown New Orleans. For the Octavia Science Fiction Reading Club, lunch is almost as important as the books we discuss. Perhaps more important. Notes: After the Hurricane Katrina Federal levee failure flood disaster that submerged the majority of the city at the end of August 2005, this long time neighborhood sandwich shop on natural higher ground nicknamed "the sliver by the river" that escaped the flood was among the early places able to reopen after locals were legally allowed back in. |
