DescriptionFirst RAAF Meteor T.7 on Malta 1952.jpg | The first Gloster Meteor F.7 aircraft to arrive at the RAF Hal Far of 78 Fighter Wing RAAF in Malta, circa in August 1952. The plane was ferried from a nearby RAF aerodrome by Flight Sergeant Cecil Sly DFM. His passenger, taking his first ride in a Meteor, was Squadron Leader John 'Bay' Adams DFC, AFC. The Wing was in Malta for garrison duty. | ||
