Summary[edit]

Description

Sister Joan Godfrey takes delivery of the first Lloyd Hartnett in Brisbane, 1957. I wonder how safe it is to drive with that huge headgear on. Looks like practicality has won out in the last half century.

Sir Laurence Hartnett, father of the Holden car, imported components to build Lloyd cars in 1957 in a plant at Kangaroo Point, Queensland. I found a few pictures related to this brief operation.
