English: A P-23 aircraft rescue firefighting vehicle before the 65th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department here March 11, Lajes Field, Azores. 65th Logistics Readiness Squadron fire truck maintenance technicians replaced the engine in the P-23 after the previous engine failed. Fire truck maintainers from the 65th LRS service nine Lajes Field fire trucks enabling 65th CES fire department responses to both military and civilian aircraft fires and on-base emergencies.
