| Description |
English: Fionnán (Finnaun) forest Fionnán (Finnaun) is a large forestry area planted in the 1960s and 1970s on blanket bog west of Abhainn Bhoth Loischte (Owenboliskey River). It is managed by Coillte and has a network of forest tracks, which are usually accessible to the public.
The Coillte website talks of experiments with drainage in this difficult to plant area. The forestry roads usually have deep ditches either side. |
