Čeština: Finsterauer Filz je rašeliniště, které se rozkládá na ploše 4,2 hektary v nadmořské výšce 1055 metrů. V nejhlubším místě dosahuje 3 metry. Kdysi se zde těžila rašelina, dnes je tato oblast přírodní rezervací. Geograficky spadá rašeliniště Finsterauer Filz již do Německa. Nachází se v okrese Freyung-Grafenau vzdušnou čarou asi 2 kilometry jihozápadně od česko-německého přechodu Bučina a asi 2 kilometry vzdušnou čarou severně od německého městečka Finsterau (nedaleko německé obce Mauth) v zadní části Národního parku Bavorský les.
English: Finsterauer Filz is a peat bog, which covers an area of 4.2 hectares at an altitude of 1055 meters. At its deepest point reaches 3 meters. In the past the peat was gained here. Today the area is a nature reserve. Geographically falls moorland "Finsterauer Filz" already to Germany. The area is located in the district of Freyung-Grafenau beeline about 2 kilometers southwest of the Czech-German crossing border Bučina. The area is located about two kilometers as the crow flies north from German town Finsterau (near the German village Mauth) in the back of the Bavarian Forest National Park.
