| Description |
English: After about four hours of slow low heat cooking, this was the result I finished with. For even darker color and bolder flavor, I could have cooked them another hour or so.
Kind if sad how a skillet full of raw sliced onions reduces down to that amount. Making them is not hard, just time consuming. They need stirred every so often. They smell really good while cooking. The first time I tried this, I had my heat too high and the onions developed a burnt smell. I still ate them, and surprisingly they did not taste burnt to me. |
