Description
Deutsch: Die Filia Hospitalis, wie die Wirtstocher in der Studentensprache genannt wurde, ist auch Thema des "Milljöh"-Zeichners Heinrich Zille, hier allerdings nicht romantisierend und verkitschend wie sonst oft üblich. Man beachte, wie sich die Wirtin über ihre unbekleidete Tochter im Bett des Studenten überhaupt nicht aufregt, sondern vielmehr über den seltsamen, neumodischen Apparat des "Herrn Doktor". In vielen deutschen Universitätsstädten wurden alle Studenten ab dem ersten Semester von der ortsansässigen Bevölkerung mit "Herr Doktor" angesprochen. An der Wand über dem Bett zwei gekreuzte Glockenschläger, die in Berlin übliche Mensurwaffe, was den Studenten als Mitglied einer schlagenden Verbindung ausweist.
