Summary[edit]

Description
English: Incandescent light bulbs have big disadvantage - too short performance. How to treat this problem?

-I've solved this problem:

  • 1) To prolong performance twice, it's need to throw out down part of sine. We need to switch on light bulb through diode.
  • 2) The diode can prolong light bulb's performance only twice. How to prolong it more? For this purpose we should drive current gaining. Operatable diode is thyristor. But we should drive the thyristor's gate.
    • To avoid filament destroing during switching on, it's used R4;
    • To switch light bulb on smooth, it is used C1 - when C1 charges to 2 Volts, the transistor VT1 will open and open the thyristor's VS1 gate.
So, current will increase in regular intervals.
