Description
English: Laima is Goddess of fate, Goddess of happiness. In Baltic Native Faith, she is one of most important Goddess. She gives people they destiny. Goddess Laima has two ethnographic signs: Laima’s broom and Laima’s herringbone. Nowadays she has some cult places in Latvia.
Latviešu: Laima ir likteņa un prieka Dieviete. Baltu pagāniskajā ticībā viņa ir viena no vissvarīgākajām Dievietēm. Viņa dod cilvēkiem viņu likteni. Dievietei Laimai ir divas etnogrāfiskās zīmes: Laimas slotiņa un Laimas skujiņa. Mūsdienās Latvijā viņai ir veltītas dažas kulta vietas.
