Español: Figura 2: Momento de activación de los diversos componentes del músculo cuadríceps y su fuerza desarrollada. Los pasos fueron ordenados de acuerdo con su duración. Los pasos cortos corresponden a las mayores velocidades de locomoción. A: Registro de la fuerza muscular del tendón patelar por medio de un transductor de fuerza implantado crónicamente. La línea gruesa indica la fase B de apoyo, entre las flechas la fase de traslado. B-D Electromiograma de los músculos rectus femoris (RF), vasto lateral (VL) y vasto intermedio (VI). Nótese que el recto femoris se activa tanto durante la fase de extensión como la de flexión. La activación del músculo vasto medial (no ilustrado) es similar a la del vasto lateral. |
