| Description |
English: Fields and pylons by Huntly farm, Longforgan There is an archaeological site in this field, see Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust http://www.pkht.org.uk/HERSearchResults.asp?selClass=-1&selParish=LONGFORGAN&selPeriod=2 . It is a Neolithic to Iron Age "Oval enclosure, pit defined enclosure, pit group". It was much easier to stop and take a photograph where a minor road just crosses the corner of the square than on the Perth to Dundee dual carriageway through the square. |
